strategy first, content second
Case note 02 / 13 · Restaurant & café
Built a social presence measured in weekend footfall, not likes.
Campaign strategy · Local growth
01 — Overview
A local restaurant with good food and a social feed that was performing on engagement and doing nothing for the room. The gap was intent: nothing in the content asked anyone to actually come in, and nothing was timed to when the decision to go out is made.
Local audience targeting, offer and event communication, and social-first creative planning — all pointed at one number the owner actually cares about: how full the room is on a Saturday. Engagement was treated as a signal, never the result.
"Likes don't fill tables."
The scope
02 — Highlights
01
Weekend footfall became the single number the content answered to. Engagement stayed as a diagnostic signal, never the goal.
02
Posting was built around Thursday–Saturday, when people decide where to eat, rather than spread evenly for the sake of consistency.
03
Reel concepts and captions sold the experience — the table, the noise, the plate arriving — not a flat dish photograph.
04
Offers, events and menu drops carried a clear, local, in-person action instead of ending on a hashtag.
What it does now
A feed that behaves like a local business: content that makes people picture the evening, discover the menu, and take the one step that matters — walking in.
